We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Cashier

Job Location: Ogbaku, Mbaitoli - Imo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Cashier will be responsible for handling all cash transactions at the station, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and proper record keeping in line with company policies and financial control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive payments from customers and issue receipts.
• Reconcile daily sales with product dispensed and cash collected.
• Maintain proper records of cash transactions and prepare daily sales reports.
• Ensure safekeeping of company funds and prompt remittance to the appropriate account.
• Report discrepancies or irregularities immediately to the Station Manager and Accounts Department.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
• Comply strictly with company financial control policies and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of OND / NCE / SSCE with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in the oil and gas, retail, or FMCG sector.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Trustworthy, disciplined, and dependable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy (use of Excel or POS system is an added advantage).
