We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Cashier

Job Location: Abule Egba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Process all guest transactions (cash, POS, bank transfers) accurately across the Lounge, Bar, Poolside, and Grill stations.
• Close tables onPOS System in coordination with service team leads.
• Ensure all payments are verified and receipts issued before table closure.
• Operate bank POS terminals and confirm receipts for all card transactions.
• Reconcile and report discrepancies between physical cash, POS receipts, and digital transactions.
• Adhere strictly to internal cash handling protocols—including safe cash storage, no unauthorized lending, dual-verification during handovers, and transaction tracking.
• Maintain an accurate float and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Submit daily Z reports and itemized sales summaries fromPOS atshift-end.
• Immediately escalate suspicious or unrecorded transactions to the Accountant or General Supervisor.
• Assist with sales-related stock verification and support inventory audit processes when required.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional grooming and courteous guest interaction.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE or OND qualification with 0-2 years of experience.
• Proficient in Restaurant POS System and bank POS machine usage
• Strong numerical skills and accounting awareness
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational discipline
• Courteous communication and guest service etiquette
• Discretion, integrity, and high personal accountability
• Familiarity with basic finance and reconciliation tools.

Salary and Benefits

• N45,000 - N60,000 monthly.
