We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Cashier

Job Location: Ilupeju / Anthony, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Jod Summary

• The cashier would capture and manage all receiving and payables for sales and expenses made by the store.
• The cashier would be responsible for managing transactions with customers, balancing cash registers and tracking transactions in order to ensure there are no discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register
• Process payments made with cash, cheques, POS, credit and debit cards.
• Process returns and exchanges.
• Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate and provide a receipt to every customer.
• Prepare and raise an invoice.
• Operate the POS system
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
• Follow the company process accurately and efficiently
• Any other ad hoc duties as may be required.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of an OND qualification.
• 1 to 3 years relevant work experience in retail, preferably but not essential.
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment, i.e cash register, scanner, money counters.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.
• Attention to details
• Sales and mathematical skills.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 Monthly
