We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Civil Engineer
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

• The Civil Engineer shall be responsible for designing, developing, and constructing the available range of projects from conception through to completion internally and externally by supervision and authorization

Core Responsibility

• Design of structural elements of projects.
• Technical Evaluation of Designs and Detail documents.
• Design Review and Update of detail drawings.
• Value Engineering and Production of Construction Detail Drawings.
• Review of all construction reports, documentation, and bills.
• Supervision of workmen, artisans, and general organization of work on construction sites from project set out to finish in line with the conceptual designs and framework.
• Ensure all construction policies and guidelines are strictly adhered to.
• Analyze survey reports, map blueprints, and other topographical and geologic data to plan infrastructure and construction projects.
• Comply with safety operating practices and assessed operational procedures in line with global best practices.
• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans. Drawing up work schedules and communicating to the appropriate quarters for implementation.

Qualification

• BSc Or HND in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3 - 5 years experience in exact or a similar role

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven working experience in civil engineering
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as Auto CAD Civil 3D or similar
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• License of a professional engineer
