Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

Job Position: Cost Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an exprienced Cost Engineer to support our client's upstream oil and gas operations and capital projects.
• The role will be respopsible for cost estimation, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting across exploration, drilling, production, and facilities projects.
• The successful candidate will work closely with project, engineering, procurement, & field teams to ensure cost efficiency and financial discipline.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cost Engineer within the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Strong experience in drilling, well operations, field development, and production facilities projects.
• Proficiency in cost control and planning tools such as Primavera P6, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of EPC/EPCM contracting strategies and cost control practices.
