Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Officer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and presenting company data to support informed decision-making by management.
• This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, the ability to make data-driven projections, and a thorough understanding of data protection laws to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Data Extraction and Analysis:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Use advanced analytics tools and techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.

Reporting and Presentation:

• Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to management for strategic decision-making.
• Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Strategic Projections and Advisory:

• Develop data-driven projections and forecasts to guide business strategy and planning.
• Advise management on potential risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement based on data insights.

Data Compliance and Security:

• Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and company policies.
• Implement and monitor data security measures to safeguard sensitive information.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide analytical support.
• Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Applicants must have CISCO Certification and any other certifications like ISACA, PECB, IAPP, CDPO (Nigeria)
• Experience with data protection reporting on NDPR portal
