We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Facility Manager
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Description

• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administration of our residential estate.
• The ideal candidate will ensure the estate operates efficiently, safely, and in line with best practices while delivering excellent service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the estate’s technical, mechanical, and electrical systems (power, water, sewage, security, etc.).
• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage service providers and contractors—including security, cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and technical maintenance teams.
• Prepare and manage facility budgets, expense tracking, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across the estate.
• Respond promptly to residents’ complaints, service requests, and emergencies.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, common areas, and infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.
• Develop and implement estate operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate facility records, reports, and inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Support the estate community by fostering smooth communication between management and residents.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Estate Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in facility or estate management (residential or commercial).
• Strong knowledge of building systems—electrical panels, HVAC, plumbing, generators, water treatment plants, etc.
• Experience managing vendors and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of HSE procedures and regulatory standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.

• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software (an added advantage).
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
