Job Position: Finance & Accounts Officer
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a Finance & Accounts Officer to manage the day-to-day financial and accounting activities of the company.
• This role involves handling records, tracking income and expenses, supporting project finances, and ensuring proper financial reporting.
• You’ll work closely with management to keep our finances accurate, organized, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and track all financial transactions accurately
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment records
• Manage expenses and ensure proper documentation
• Support budgeting and cost tracking for projects
• Reconcile bank statements and cash records
• Monitor payments from clients and follow up when necessary
• Handle supplier payments and maintain vendor records
• Prepare basic financial reports for management
• Ensure compliance with internal financial processes

Requirements

• HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Practical experience in accounting or finance roles
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Ability to use accounting software and spreadsheets
• Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information
• Experience in an engineering or project-based company is an advantage
