Job Position: Financial Accountant

Description 

• Our client is actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to monitor all financial data, prepare accurate statements, and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
• Your role will be crucial in budgeting, managing tax payments, performing internal audits, and supporting strategic investment decisions. By maintaining our financial records and contributing to our financial strategy, you will play a vital role in driving our organization's success.

Responsibilities

• Gather and monitor financial data (e.g., sales revenues and liabilities).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements).
• Prepare budgets for the entire company and by department.
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies.
• Forecast costs and revenues.
• Manage tax payments and organize internal audits.
• Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments.
• Analyze financial trends to support strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• 3 - 5 years of work experience.
• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 monthly.
