1.) Specialist, Regional Quality Audit


Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  • As Specialist, Regional Audit, you will ensure IHS sites are built to quality standards and in line with international best practice.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Operations:

  • Perform Site Readiness for Installation audits across assigned region. 
  • Allocate sites to Field Service Engineers to achieve integrated audit of sites. 
  • Ensure the team’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Rollout is achieved through effective implementation of the region’s Site Readiness for Installation audit plan. 
  • Deliver timely reports on audit outcomes in line with the Operations Quality Manual and stakeholders’ expectations. 
  • Monitor trends in regional audit outcomes for necessary escalation and communication to the Senior Specialist, O&M Support. 
  • Enhance value across the entire process through continuous proactive engagement with stakeholders on improved and / or latest audit practices. 
  • Perform periodic independent evaluation of the audit process with a view of driving continuous improvement. 
  • Update the regional audit records after every audit. 
  • Ensure smooth transfer of all audited sites to the Operations team. 
  • Manage and close post-audit faults in collaboration with the Rollout team and other relevant stakeholders. 
  • Contribute towards optimization of the function’s Opex budget through effective implementation of the approved audit plan. 
  • Conduct power system analysis with the aim of improving application. 
  • Continually explore creative strategies for capturing and measuring client power requirements. 

General Duties:

  • Promote communication among colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise. 
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Senior Specialist, O&M Support.  
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors. 
  • Perform other appropriate duties as requested by Senior Specialist, O&M Support. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any relevant discipline. 
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in the telecoms industry.

2.) Senior Manager, IT Security Operations

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Lead the IT security team in line with best practice such as ISO27001 
  • Identify potential threats to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the company’s systems and network. 
  • Identify appropriate security technologies based on risks, policies, and architecture. 
  • Plan, buy, and roll out security hardware and software, ensuring IT and network infrastructure is designed according to best security practices. 
  • Perform real-time analyses of immediate threats. 
  • Triage when security threats materialize. 
  • Keep abreast of developing security threats and assist management to understand potential security problems that may arise from acquisitions or other big business moves. 
  • Support the IT Architecture Review process and evaluate associated security of the proposed architectures. 
  • Contribute towards establishing credible security awareness throughout the organization. 
  • Create and establish processes around vulnerability management. 
  • Prevent staff from misusing or misappropriating data. 
  • Ensure that only authorized users have access to restricted data and systems. 
  • Keep ahead of security needs by implementing programs or projects that mitigate risks, e.g. regular system patches. 
  • Determine root causes of breaches and deal with those responsible if internal while also planning to avoid repeats in future. 
  • Ensure IT security baselines and considerations are embedded in the procurement process for all applications. 
  • Keep informed of industry trends in cyber-security. 
  • Drive purchase of security solutions to combat IT security risk. 
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Director, ITSSC. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and / or Advanced degree in Computer Science or any related disciplines. Professional certifications such as CISA, ISO27001, CISSP, CISM, CEH, will be an asset. 
  • 9+ years of relevant experience in Information Security, IT Control and IT Risk. 
  • Hands-on experience in security systems review, Acunetix, Windows Server, Linux server, SIEM, Nipper, Nessus. 
  • Demonstrable experience with change management, user access management, segregation of duties matrix, and incident response. 
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocol

3.) Analyst, Documentation

Job Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
Operations:

  • Receive diesel intervention approval and inform Procurement team of need to contact Site Maintenance Contractors (SMCs) to supply diesel. 
  • Notify Field Service Engineers (FSEs) to take delivery of diesel to site. 
  • Monitor and track diesel deliveries. 
  • Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of signed diesel waybills as submitted by vendors and/ or FSEs. 
  • Prepare and submit diesel availability reports to the Regional Logistics Specialist. 
  • Sign Final Acceptance Certificates and forward to HQ. 
  • Work with Central Diesel Planning (Operations) and Diesel Procurement Management (Supply Chain) to ensure diesel allocation reporting is accurate and complete. 
  • Assist the Regional Logistics Coordinator to ensure the right amount of diesel is supplied to sites. 
  • Manage relationships with partners and vendors. 
  • Perform other tasks and duties assigned by the Regional Logistics Specialis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline. 
  • +2 years of relevant work experience.
