Description


  • We are seeking a Fleet Manager for a Realties and Construction industry client.
  • As the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of the fleet, procurement and maintenance of vehicles and ensuring the prompt renewal of services/maintenance contracts on office equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) physical checks on all equipment and vehicles.
  • Ensure immediate elimination of faults reported.
  • Ensure professionally qualified personnel of the vendors handle and maintain sensitive machines to avoid breakdowns and work stoppages.
  • Responsible for general fleet and logistic administration and services provider co-ordination
  • Responsible for proper planning, monitoring, inspection and necessary preparation for major repairs/overhauls and projects
  • Carry out preventive checks, inspections and repairs to avoid downtime.
  • Educate users on proper usage and handling of equipment in their care.
  • Ensure that the organization's machines and equipment always perform optimally to enhance effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Preparation of periodic reports on expenditures/budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience (Minimum of 3 years) in fleet management or a similar operations role.
  • Experience managing budget
  • Good Facilities management experience
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
