Job Position: Full-stack Developer

Job Description

• The primary responsibility of eMedicStore Full Stack Developer will include designing user interactions on websites, developing servers and databases for website functionality and coding for different platforms.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, technical design and implementation of web applications. The candidate will work in all phases of the development cycle: concept to implementation and must be comfortable with both front and back end programming.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Joining a team of developers already working on projects for the company.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back end website applications.
• Fixing bugs and performance problems.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Perform full life-cycle development.
• Adhere to agreed upon delivery schedules/date.
• Fixing bugs and performance problems.
• Writing clean, readable, and testable code.
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
• Utilizes source control, continuous integration, and unit testing best practices
• Work cross-functionally to define and write code for new features.
• Good organizational skills, know your limits, and how to work on a deadline.

Skills / Requirements

• Professional web development experience (2 years minimum)
• Experience with Git version control
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside the Digital Marketer and graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber.
• Proficiency with server side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail.

Person Specification

• Age : 21 - 32 Years

Work Experience:

• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 - 3 years of work experience.

Job Location:

• Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. (Residential Proximity to the job location will be an added advantage).
