Fumigation and Cleaning Technician

Summary:  Documents problems and keeps records of work performed. Performs specialized cleaning for all product delivery systems. Participates in preparing facility for fumigation and completes pest control duties as assigned. Completes pest control inspections.

• Performs detailed cleaning of product delivery systems and components by gathering and setting up equipment, brushing down tank, blowing down interior of system components, vacuuming out augers, feeders and filter boxes, sweeping up debris and properly disposing of product spillage.
• Performs integrated pest control duties by inspecting facility for rodents and insects, completing documentation, replacing various traps, performing residual pesticide applications and fumigations, performing critical ingredient and finished goods inspections and performs other duties as assigned.
• Performs detailed cleaning of facility common areas by gathering and setting up equipment, sweeping debris, gathering bags of flour and blowing down the wall.
