Matrix Design and Works is an indegineous furniture manufacturing company in kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, doors and office furnitures. Located at No 12, Miracle Avenue, Sangotedo Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Furniture Production Manager

Job Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Team Management: Manage and supervise a team of production and installation staff, including training, development, and performance management.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet high-quality standards, client’s specification and implement quality control processes to minimize defects. Monitor production phase at various levels.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overheads.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate various deadlines and status updates.
• Familiarize with business trends and recommend improvement plan.
• Ensure proper documentation of processes and production activities.
• See to routine maintenance of machines and tools to avoid downtime.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess B.Arch / B.Sc Degree with 5-10 years of work experience.

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 monthly.
