Reporting to: The Managing Director/CEO

Job Overview

• Responsible for the family takaful operations of the company which include Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims and Retakaful

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate, direct and coordinate the Family Takaful Division in line with the company’s strategic direction and corporate objectives
• Design, develop, execute and monitor the underwriting and actuarial functions and policies, process workflow, and Standard Operating Procedures
• Design, develop, execute and monitor the claims functions and policies, process workflow and Standard Operating Procedures
• Design, develop, execute and monitor the retakaful functions and policies, process workflow and Standard Operating Procedures

Person Specification 
Educational Qualifications:

• First degree in any subject.
• MBA or Masters degree in a related subject is an added advantage.

Professional Qualifications:

• ACII is mandatory

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years experience of which 10 years must be in Life Insurance.
• In addition,candidates must have spent at least 5 years in a Senior Management position.
