We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Graphic Designer

Job Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Design eye-catching graphics for multimedia campaigns, news stories, documentaries, podcasts, and branded content.
• Collaborate with editors, producers, and marketing teams to develop visuals for websites, social media, video content, email campaigns, and press kits.
• Maintain visual consistency across all Tilden Media content platforms, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
• Develop infographics, title cards, thumbnails, and motion-ready assets for video production.
• Stay current with media and design trends to ensure our content remains fresh, modern, and competitive.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, often with tight deadlines and quick turnarounds.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Media Arts, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced media, publishing, or creative agency environment.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Figma or Canva is a plus.
• Strong portfolio showcasing editorial layouts, social media assets, and promotional campaigns.
• Knowledge of digital media formats, specs, and trends.
• Excellent eye for visual storytelling, layout design, and brand consistency.

Desirable Skills:

• Basic motion graphics and video editing skills (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Experience designing for social-first media and viral content.
• Ability to adapt quickly to content direction changes in a newsroom-style environment.
• Understanding of typography, colour theory, and UI/UX principles.
• Use AI-driven tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, DALL·E, Canva Magic Studio) to conceptualize and accelerate creative output.
