Description 


  • We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources (HR) leader to oversee all aspects of HR for a dynamic oil and gas company.
  • As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the HR department, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across the organization.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Manage and maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct HR audits and investigations as needed.
  • Provide expert HR counsel and guidance to senior management and employees.
  • Oversee the entire HR lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
  • Champion a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and implement initiatives to promote an inclusive and equitable workplace.
  • Stay abreast of emerging HR trends and practices and incorporate best practices into the organization's HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least three (3) years in a managerial position
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Relevant Certifications such as Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPM) is a must.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Expertise in recruitment, selection, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for creating a positive and productive work environment.
