Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager for an EPIC oil and gas servicing company in Warri.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management, particularly in pipeline projects, and will lead the HSE function, managing teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and systems aligned with company and industry standards.
- Lead HSE planning and risk assessments for EPIC projects, with a focus on pipeline construction and maintenance.
- Oversee a team of HSE leads and officers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, corporate HSE standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Provide HSE training, mentoring, and awareness programs for project teams and contractors.
- Collaborate with project management, engineering, and operations teams to integrate HSE considerations into all project phases.
- Monitor and report HSE performance metrics to senior management, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance across all levels of the organization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HSE, Engineering, or related discipline; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- 10–15 years of HSE experience in the oil and gas industry, with hands-on experience managing pipeline projects.
- Proven experience leading HSE teams, supervising HSE leads/officers, and managing multiple project sites.
- Strong knowledge of industry HSE standards, regulatory frameworks, and best practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, safety audits, incident investigation, and HSE reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work onsite and manage HSE activities across large-scale projects.
