Job Position: Internal Control Officer

Job Location: Ogudu Road, Ogudu - Lagos

Job Description

• The Internal Control Officer must ensure full and strict compliance with established internal control procedures, by carrying out independent and accurate checks and examination of records, reports, operating practices & documentation processes.
• Reviewing of all purchases, cash inflow and outflow and goods transfers.
• Ensure the efficiency and effectively of Internal control procedures.
• Electronically checking all business transaction and postings with the use of ERP for accuracy and accountability.
• Carry out a comprehensive review of the organization’s adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• To maintain accurate and error-free financial statements for the organization.
• Ensures that all expenditures directly related to operational activities as well as payments are approved and within the set budget.
• Daily stock taking of all the Bars outlets as well as Weekly and Monthly stock taking in the supermarket to ensure proper stock control.
• Review of petty cash reimbursement.
• Develop recommendations for any loopholes or any blind spots across the organization.
• To safeguard the revenue and assets.
• To ensure that transactions are recorded and accurately reported.
• By examining documentation, reports, statements, and records.
• Plan and overseas periodic audit exercise.
• Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance & efficiency.
• To ensure that all the business processes in a company are risk -management compliant.
• Carry out market survey of materials to ensure that necessary statutory provisions are provided for, and review of invoices.

Salary
N120,000 - N180,000 / month.
