Job Position: Inventory Clerk

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our growing construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate tracking and management of all construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Your contributions will ensure our projects have the supplies they need to stay on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in a computerized system, including quantity, location, and condition of items.
• Track material usage on construction projects and generate reports for project managers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area for all inventory.
• Assist with preparing purchase orders for low stock items and managing vendor relations.
• May participate in crew material deliveries to job sites.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
• Issue materials and equipment to crews as needed, following proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure adherence to all company safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer abilities and proficiency in micro soft excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
