Job Position: Warehouse Shift Manager

Overview


  • We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • You will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for optimizing processes.

Responsibilities
Warehouse and Logistics Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics processes to optimize inventory flow and distribution.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Last Mile Delivery (B2B):

  • Manage last mile delivery operations for B2B customers, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Work closely with delivery drivers to ensure compliance with delivery protocols and customer service standards.
  • Resolve delivery-related issues and address customer inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate warehouse and delivery teams to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional service.
  • Provide coaching and training to enhance team capabilities and productivity.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts, overstocking, and losses.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movements, monitor inventory levels, and forecast demand.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to manage incoming shipments and maintain adequate inventory levels.

Quality Control:

  • Implement quality control measures to maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory and deliveries.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate reports on warehouse and delivery performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, and delivery metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the FMCG/eCommerce or distribution industry.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
