Job Position: Inventory Controller
Job Locations: Abuja and Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the efficient use of Supply for the management of health commodities, stored in the warehouse and ensure accurate stock reporting is generated for management and Clients on agreed timelines.
- Lead and manage the inbound and outbound Officers in carrying out their functions on mSupply expeditiously to ensure receiving and dispatch processes are done in accordance with Good Warehouse Practices and Good Distribution Practice.
- Lead on all inventory management activities in the warehouse including but not limited to inventory reports, routine bin verification, bin to bin transfer, stock movement, batch consolidation, spot checks, cycle counts, full stock count, etc.
- Provide technical support to the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure all physical ware house inventory activities are aligned with mSupply.
- Collaborate with the MIS/IT Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of mSupply and enhanced functionality development together with the software developer to meet Client requirements.
- Support the MIS/IT Manager to oversee the administration of the access control and CCTV System in the warehouse.
- Work with the Warehouse Supervisor to plan resources required for receiving and storing inbound shipments based on advance shipping notice received from the Clients.
- Ensure that receiving reports are sent to Clients on agreed timelines.
- Ensure total compliance with relevant SOPs by the warehouse and inventory teams, follow up on all incidents or non-conformances recorded, for satisfactory resolution of all corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct pre and post LMD review meetings in conjunction with the Warehouse Operations Manager and share report with senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant SOPs in discharge of your duties.
- Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting the effective management, storage, and dispatch of commodities, ensuring timely and accountable delivery in line with industry and organizational standards.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- First Degree (Preferably Computer Science), Master's Degree an advantage. Certifications in Health Commodity Logistics.
- Minimum 5 years of post NYSC experience.
- Experienced in Warehouse & Distribution operations of health commodities. Knowledge of Quality Management System.
- IT Hardware Management desirable.
