Job Position: Inventory Officer

Job Location: Jabi, Abuja
Industry: Retail Pharmacy / Minimart
Work Schedule: Mondays - Fridays

Description

• Our reputable client is seeking for an Inventory Officer who will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock replenishment, and preventing losses through effective inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all stock items.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure timely reordering of fast-moving items.
• Receive and inspect deliveries for quantity, quality, and accuracy against purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement officers to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements (inflows and outflows) and proper documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Ensure compliance with store inventory policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Work closely with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth stock flow.

Qualifications / Skills

• Minimum of OND in Business Administration or any related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experiencein inventory, stock control, or storekeeping within a retail store, supermarket, or minimart environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems(e.g., Excel).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Integrity, accountability, and reliability in handling stock.

Remuneration

• Salary: N70,000 / Month.
• Other Benefits: Performance bonus, end of year bonus, staff discount on medication
