Job Description


  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Officer to manage stock levels across our pharmacy, supermarket, bakery, and restaurant operations.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, prevent stock losses, and maintain optimal inventory levels to support daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using software and manual logs.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate restocking where necessary.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
  • Investigate discrepancies and report inventory issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Track incoming and outgoing items and ensure proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with procurement, store, and department heads for stock movement.
  • Prevent stock losses through proper handling, storage, and monitoring.
  • Prepare inventory reports and submit to management regularly.

Education & Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certification in inventory, storekeeping, or logistics is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 - 4years of experience in inventory management, stock control, or a related role.
  • Experience in retail, pharmacy, or food service industry preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Must reside within or near [Gudu, Apo, Lokogoma or surrounding areas
  • Must be physically fit and able to handle inventory tasks
  • Must be available for immediate employment

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory software(PHP)
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Integrity and a high level of accountability

Remuneration

  • Salary: N130,000 - N150,000 / month.
  • Competitive salary based on experience
