We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Solar Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

About the Job


  • The Solar engineer will be responsible to provide diagnostic, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance services to residential and commercial PV systems, electric vehicle charging stations, and energy efficiency installations comprising the client's installed bases.
  • The Solar engineer will be asked to assist in commissioning the solar array and monitoring systems during project installation.
  • The ideal candidate has significant experience and understanding in designing and installing commercial and residential PV systems.

Responsibilities

  • Performing required preventive maintenance activities on inverters to maintain warranty coverage
  • Responding to corrective maintenance cases on PV systems - includes troubleshooting, testing, repairing activities, and updating online case logs accurately
  • Working closely with members of the team to respond to open case directions and provide data where requested
  • Prioritizing conflicting work requests and escalations
  • Working with customers unhappy with the performance or functionality of their systems
  • Attending and demonstrating outstanding performance at multiple training schools
  • Working safely and in accordance with company and industry-standard safety requirements
  • Report writing, where required, to comply with deliverables
  • Ensuring tooling, electronics, software, and company property issued are accounted for and taken care of
  • Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of the client's Field Service team
  • Extensive hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PV systems
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced field environment and ability to travel
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal); particularly in a customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

  • Solar training and Certification are strongly preferred or graduate from a technical university or polytechnic
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of electrical and home wiring experience
  • Proficiency in installing all types of inverters & able to work with various ground and roof mount racking systems
  • Electrician training is required to perform electrical work
  • Experience working on a roof or a plus
  • Understanding of the electrical codes that relate to PV installations.

2.) Project Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
  • Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team.
  • Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
  • Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
  • Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
  • Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
  • Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.
  • Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
  • Establishing field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.
  • Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A valid engineering license.
  • 4 or more years of field and project planning experience.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent project management and supervision skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.

3.) Elite Talent Corps (Seasoned Solar Professional)

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description
We are looking for candidates who have the following abilities:

  • Installation of complete inverter/solar power system for clients
  • Diagnosis and repair of faulty inverters and other electronic components
  • Ability to conduct solar system analyses
  • Leadership of technical installation teams for solar and hybrid solar installation across branches
  • Development of design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial solar energy systems or components
  • Contribution and leadership in projects for solar resource assessments, energy production estimates, performance assessments of operating projects, siting, performance testing, feasibility studies, new technology evaluation, component modeling, conceptual design, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a solar engineer
  • Relevant Onsite experience
  • Site inspection and Load Audit.
