1.) Dealer - Treasury Operations Money Market, Finance

Mission

  • To perform and manage treasury-related analysis to ensure that there is efficient management of liquidity, optimal bank transactions and investments, and compliance with funding contractual obligations by MTNN

Description

  • Collate daily bank indicative quotes for investment placements to aid investment decisions made by Treasury, ensuring that escalated compliance issues and complaints relating to the banking SLAs are followed up.
  • Collate and analyze data on cash movements, exchange rate movements, bank charges, interest rates, lending rates, and placements, ensuring that payments, repayments, interest payments, and underwriting fees are effected as per mandate.
  • Monitor cash sweeps from the various sub accounts to main accounts plus other transfers, liaising with MTNN banks on immediate service issues.
  • Monitor all contracts binding MTNN in relation to MTNN funding.
  • Conduct research and compile data and benchmarking for Treasury.
  • Assist in implementing new business processes within all the MTNN Treasury functions.
  • Implement tools for corporate cash management, evaluate banks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collate information on economic conditions, the financial climate, and changes in corporate requirements by carrying out ratio analysis on banks and collecting data on risk ratings and exposure limits.
  • Prepare management reports on market, competitor, and general intelligence that impact the business, maintaining Treasury records and an audit trail in strict compliance with MTNN policies and procedures.
  • Implement systems for the efficient administration of the Treasury.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of month-end activities, journals, schedules, and general ledger balances.

Educational Qualifications

  • First Degree in Accounting, Economics, or any other related discipline
  • Fluent in English
  • Part qualification or membership in a professional accounting association (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CFA)

Experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience in an area of specialization, with experience working with others
  • Familiarity with good accounting practices and the Nigerian policy environment.
  • Experience working in a medium-sized organization
  • Experience in a financial environment in Treasury, banking, or an FMCG environment.
  • Extensive bank reconciliation experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the money and capital markets.

Description

  • Map trends and provide reports on various medical schemes.
  • Support the quality assurance of health care providers.
  • Support case management by maintaining trackers for proactive intervention and reporting.
  • Enforce claims management SLAs and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Support chronic sick leave tracking and investigation.
  • Support the management of the MTNN work-site clinic.
  • Implement innovative ideas on bill management and educate staff on measures that will reverse negative trends.
  • Support the prompt resolution of staff issues.
  • Support the international evacuation of employees and dependents when applicable.
  • Provide pre-travel support for employees on international assignments.
  • Contribute to the monthly employee services operational report.
  • Prepare monthly bills for management approval: vet, analyze, and compile monthly bills in an approved format.

Educationanl Qualifications

  • First Degree in any of the Medical Sciences, e.g., Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or any related field.
  • Fluent in English

Experience:

  • 3–7 years of work experience from a reputable organization
  • Experience in claims management

3.) Coordinator - Regional Security East, Risk and Compliance

Description

  • Manage approved budget in area of responsibility.
  • Implement security policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) developed by the National Office in the region. 
  • Ensure that all incidents are investigated and reported to the Regional Security Manager in line with approved procedures.   
  • Prepare analytical and statistical reports on operations and activities. 
  • Risk & Threat Assessment - implement risk management strategy that maximizes personnel safety from violence and the threat of violence in area of responsibility
  • Conduct security surveys of critical facilities to determine level of security threat and exposure. 
  • Prioritize, assign, supervise, review the work and monitor performance of staff responsible for patrol services..
  • Conduct security briefings and security awareness to security staff and MTNN staff respectively.
  • Personnel Security – ensure safety of MTNN personnel on personal security such as street crime, assault, robbery, kidnap in area of responsibility
  • Protecting MTNN Assets – ensure safety of Employees, Business operations, Premises, Information, Network infrastructures in area of responsibility
  • Security Liaison/ Intelligence – maintain a harmonious relationship and contacts with various cadre of various security agencies (Police, Military, SSS, etc) in area of responsibility.  Also, exploit the relationship to gain relevant intelligence information that will ensure better protection for MTNN personnel and operations.
  • Participate in the selection of patrol staff, staff training, coaching and mentoring and work with employees to implement discipline procedures and execute tasks according to approved guidelines and procedures
  • Security Liaison/ Intelligence – maintain a harmonious relationship and contacts with various cadre of various security agencies (Police, Military, SSS, etc) in area of responsibility.  Also, exploit the relationship to gain relevant intelligence information that will ensure better protection for MTNN personnel and operations.
  • Investigations –  carry out specific investigations on wrongdoing by staff and criminal activities targeted at MTNN
  • Respond to inquiries, investigate and resolve security related problems.  
  • Ensure safety of MTNN personnel on personal security such as street crime, assault, robbery, kidnap in area of responsibility
  • Drive Knowledge Management and Best Practice Sharing within own Unit/Department/Division/Enterprise-wide as required. 

Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a First Degree

Experience:

4.) Manager - Project Management, Information Technology

Mission

  • To plan, manage the project/program execution and reporting, manage and allocate resources for the execution of IT projects in line with the needs of all business units in the organization and MTNN business plan.

Description

  • Carry out feasibility studies in new business initiatives and develop project charter, identifying project scope, expectations, objectives, risks, approach and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders, to support business goals.
  • Develop detailed work plans and identify project deliverables and ensure all projects are well defined in terms of detailed project deliverables, milestones and time frames.
  • Deploy and manage resources effectively for the successful execution of IS projects, securing the release of project required resources including project staff and financial resources.
  • Compile lessons to learn for use by project teams in execution of on-going and future projects and participate in post project delivery review.
  • Coach and train the team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets and requirements, and regular review of their training needs.
  • Review issues and problems in relation to projects, deal with vendors and administer contracts and identify project risks, as well as recommend actions to mitigate risks.
  • Assist in evaluating, tracking and managing the development and performance of team members, to ensure productivity and achievement of business results.
  • Close out project ensuring all resources are accounted for and released appropriately.
  • Review the performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.

Requirements
Education:

  • Candidates should possess a First Degree in Electrical / Electronics, Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline
  • Certifications in the Agile practice area – Scrum etc. 
  • Possession of a professional project management certification (PRINCE2/PMP) will be an advantage
  • Fluent in English.

Experience:
6 - 13 years of experience which includes:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising/managing others.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in agile practices and related tools.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple projects within and outside a program.
  • Proven experience in Managing large scale digital projects and solutions across complex, trans-national, cross-Functional program and channels
  • Experience of facilitating project coordination and managing expectations across internal, 3rd party and/or client teams according to project requirements and workstreams from kick off to deployment. 
  • Experience working in a medium to large multinational Technology organization.
  • Formal project management experience in a telecommunication technology business environment such as but not limited to customer care & billing systems (CC&BS, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems environment, Charging System, payment systems, VAS system.
  • Formal project management experience in digital technologies such as cloud technology, new generation apps, APIs and microservices.
  • Risk management prior to and during the project execution, managing risks within project timelines, budgets and quality. 
  • Quality reporting for different spectrum of stakeholders.
