United Nigeria Airlines is a wholly owned Nigerian company incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990 at the Corporate Affairs Commission to offer commercial air transportation services under the trade name United Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Catering Supervisor

Job Location: Nigeria
Effective Date: TBA
Reports to: Catering /In-Flight Services Manager
Department: Ground Operations 

Job Summary


  • Responsible for all aspects of catering, line operations and ensuring every flight is stocked according to specifications.
  • Monitoring meal orders.   

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all on/off schedule flights are catered and equipped to the standards at all times.
  • Supervise loading and offloading of catering equipment supplies and food products into the aircraft.
  • Ensures accurate documentation of catering supplies on board
  • Upload and haul used items back to distribution centre for restocking and cleaning
  • Liaise with the supplier and cabin services to ensure they understand and fulfil out supply forms
  • Establish in conjunction with cabin crew that supply allocations are according to schedules.
  • Ensure that contractors provide correct onboard supplies per flight.
  • Ensure that hygiene standards are maintained in accordance with the company’s & external regulations
  • Ensure pax figures are obtained the previous day and checked as per flight-on-flight date
  • Sending of orders to vendors a day prior to the flight date
  • Cross-checking orders for possible updates before aircraft arrival for flights

Employee Deliverables

Experience & Qualification

  • HND, BSc in Catering and Hotel Management, Food Tech or Microbiology
  • 3 years and above working experience 30 and above 
  • OND with experience
  • Professional qualification in Food Safety and Hygiene or HACCP

Required Skills:

  • Ability to interpret schedules, and place meal orders
  • Good communication skill
  • Honest and hardworking
  • Must be a team player.

2.) Quality & Safety Auditor

Job Location: Nigeria
Effective Date: TBA
Reports to: Quality & Safety Manager
Department: Quality & Safety

Job Summary

  • Monitors compliance with and adequacy of procedures required to ensure safe operational practices and airworthy aircraft.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Perform Quality/Safety inspections and audits as per the approved audit plan
  • Monitors to ensure that corrective actions resulting from audit reports are carried out
  • Investigate non-conformities and recommend corrective action as appropriate
  • Perform oversight for routine checks in the hanger and other special tasks as when called up
  • The link between the department/section and the Quality Assurance System and Safety Management System.
  • Ensuring thorough continuous inspection, quality control and monitoring that all Maintenance Activities are in conformity with standard and Recommended Practices and Procedures and in compliance with laid down regulations
  • Maintaining surveillance of all work in progress and inspections required to be accomplished during the progress of work and at completion prior to aircraft release to service
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Experience & Qualification

  • B.Engr.
  • Good level of written and oral English
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Good level of computer skills.

Required Skills:

  • Must be a graduate
  • An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) with Airframe and power plant, or Avionics type ratings or Shall have 4 years in f aviation/engineering/ ground operations/flight operations experience with at least 3 years of work experience in Quality and Safety
  • Has quality system training and internal quality audit training.

3.) Sales Ambassador

Job Location: All UNA Stations except Lagos and Abuja
Effective Date: TBA
Reports to: Sales Manager
 Department: Commercial 

Job Summary

  • We are seeking dynamic and result driven Sales Ambassadors to promote our brand, drive ticket sales, and build lasting relationships with customers and travel partners.
  • The ideal candidate is passionate about aviation, customer service, and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.  

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Promote United Nigeria Airlines’ services to individual and corporate clients
  • Drive ticket sales through direct marketing, travel agency partnerships, and corporate outreach 
  • Provide timely feedback to management on customer needs, problems, and interests 
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions 
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency 
  • Represent the airline at trade shows, roadshows, and promotional events 
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities 
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. 
  • Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by your Line Manager

Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in travel, hospitality, or aviation

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools 
  • Knowledge of airline reservation systems (e.g Videcon, Sabre) is a plus.
