1.) Engineering Specialist

Job Location: Ado-Ikere Road, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description


  • We are looking out to hire a reliable and well-experienced all-round Engineer to join our capable team of professionals.
  • In this role, you will be tasked with the core responsibility of improvement and maintenance of farm machineries, equipment, and technology to improve a farm's efficiency.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have a good background and experience in mechanical maintenance and repairs of tractors and other farm equipment and a fair technical know-how of engineering procedures cutting across but not limited to civil and electrical.

Responsibilities

  • Lead diagnosing of mechanical problems with tractors, farm machinery, or other equipment to determine the appropriate repairs or replacements needed
  • Maintaining a fleet of farm equipment such as tractors, harvesters, sprayers, and other vehicles used for farming purposes.
  • Design structures, equipment, processes and provide timely report to management.
  • Providing technical emergency aids
  • Estimate cost, reliability, and ensure safety of equipment
  • Test products thoroughly for safety issues and defects.
  • Work in areas such as power systems and machinery design, structural and environmental engineering.
  • Design farmhouses, barns, and other shelters.
  • Implement technological changes using competitive and market intelligence
  • Generate specifications for parts and control the efficiency of processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
  • 8-10 years of minimum previous experience as a lead Engineer or in a similar role in the agricultural sector with experience in Tractor and Farm Fleet maintenance
  • A high level of knowledge pertaining to the installation, use, and repair of agricultural equipment
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Possession of good interpersonal skills is a must
  •  Must have excellent coordination and organizational abilities.

2.) Surveyor

Job Location: Ado-Ikere Road, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking out to hire a reliable and well-experienced Land & Quantity Surveyor to join our capable team of professionals.
  • In this role, you will be tasked with measuring property boundaries, creating records of survey results, preparing quantity estimates as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have a methodical approach, great mathematical and analytical skills, and a good eye for measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out a survey of the environment and providing coordinates of all structural elements and alignment of same.
  • Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents.
  • Conducting standard calculations to identify areas, elevation, and volumes of field survey notes.
  • Research and design methods for survey processes.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local surveying laws; rules, regulations, and county ordinances; and policies, procedures, and best practices relative to land surveying.
  • Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys.
  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects on several projects.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to field staff.
  • Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Engineering, or a similar field.
  • 15-20 years of minimum previous experience as a surveyor or in a similar role.
  • Work experience in Ekiti and/or any neighouring states would be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of GPS and GIS.
  • Thorough understanding and ability to apply methods and standards of technical report  writing and computer-assisted surveying applications.
  • Aptitude in math and problem-solving.
  • Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently.
  • Must be registered.

3.) Staff Accountant

Job Location: Ekiti
Job Type: Full time

Job Description

  • Handle the company’s accounting procedures and maintains a healthy financial profile ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
  • Prepare GAAP and entry of journal
  • Calculate all accruals and perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper coding of cash receipts and transfers.
  • Liaise between accounts receivable, Account Payable, general accounting, finance, IT, and other teams as necessary.
  • Identify and drive revenue initiatives and strategy to advance the team and organization
  • Make recommendations and implement actions necessary to maintain and improve team and organization metrics.
  • Organize and update financial records.
  • Assist in maintaining fixed assets
  • Prepare balance sheet and profit and loss account reconciliations
  • Assist in year-end accounting close activities
  • Support annual financial and other audits
  • Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
  • Perform monthly bank settlements.
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of prior general accounting experience
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry experience will be a plus
  • Experience in SAAS organization will be an added advantage.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies such as Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN)
  • Professional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Advance Filters, Pivot tables, If Statements, Text to Columns, etc.)
  • Account reconciliation skills
