We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Assistant WAN / Systems Administrator

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description


  • Troubleshoot and resolve WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problems
  • Maintain service log for internet (WAN) and its deployment based on required needs
  • Manage network servers and technology tools
  • Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure
  • Maintain and optimise the health and efficiency of end-user systems
  • Classify, analyze and document present and future requests to administer resources interrelated to the enterprise network
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
  • Test, evaluate and recommend selections of standard WAN and systems components
  • Install and configure software, hardware/networks, identify and resolve problems of same as directed by the WAN/Systems Administrator.
  • Assist the WAN/Systems Administrator in Designing, analyzing, and implementing WAN equipment installation/configuration and design a cost-effective system configuration that meets users’ requirements
  • Screen network to ensure network accessibility to every system customer and offer essential repairs to enable network availability
  • Accountable for making monitoring reports and handling device logs and ensuring the functionality of network links
  • Implement project installation and administration as needed, following suggestions of the WAN/Systems Administrator.
  • Implement the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a BSc in relevant fields with 1 - 3 years of work experience.

2.) Splicing Technician

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Support the termination and testing of fiber optic cables in both outdoor and indoor settings
  • Maintain control of outside plant (OSP) activities surrounding the assigned work site(s)
  • Perform cable splicing/termination in accordance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and perform maintenance to resolve signal problems.
  • Prepare engineering splicing field notes.
  • Interprete splice diagrams, buried underground, and aerial telecom facilities in records, on maps and in the field
  • Make recommendations for changes in fiber assignments
  • Preparing fiber sheaths, splice and test individual fibers
  • Perform proper fibre management within fiber optic enclosures
  • Maintain the scope of work on the project and adhere to safety procedures
  • Read and understand network splicing plans, and taking and maintaining accurate field notes.
  • Adhere to instructions and specifications given by the Project Manager, OSP specilaist, Design Engineers and Supervisors
  • Team player that coordinates and communicates fiber activities with other employees, departments, and management.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1 - 2 years of work experience.

3.) Driver

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Safely and responsibly operate a vehicle to transport the staff or guests to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with the employer or designated point of contact regarding schedules, routes, and other related matters.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes.
  • Ensures assigned vehicle documents are valid, complete, and up to date always.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
  • Reports any noticed faults, breakdowns, or part defects in the vehicle immediately and follow up until repair or replacement is perfectly done.
  • Daily monitoring of the vehicle condition and reporting any fault to Logistics Manager.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil or coolant.
  • Anticipate and avoid potential hazards on the road, adjusting driving style as necessary to ensure maximum safety.
  • Be alert and attentive to the needs of the passengers, providing assistance and support as required.
  • Provide updates on traffic conditions or other relevant information that may affect the journey.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the employer's private information, conversations, and activities.
  • Driving a variety of vehicles, including, cars, buses and trucks.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2 - 3 years of work experience.
  • A valid driver's License
