1.) Marine Surveyor-EMC 1

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities / Activities
As we continue to develop our activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Marine Surveyor - EMC . The Position is located in Lagos, Nigeria:

  • Undertake class classification/certification statutory surveys and inspections of marine and offshore-related material and equipment according to rules and regulations.
  • Takes technical decisions to attest equipment & material compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Requests advice from his manager on any questions he deems beyond his responsibilities or his technical capabilities.
  • Collects the necessary evidence of compliance, signs and issues the relevant BV documents (certificates, reports)
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure all survey/inspection reports (including survey certificates) are factual, objective and submitted within the stipulated format and timeframe.
  • Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.
  • Participate in meetings (both internal and external) as required.
  • Attend all scheduled trainings (locally and overseas) and ultimately achieving specified delegations as agreed in Performance Management Process.

2.) Business Developer - Certification

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the Certification departments’ sales activities specific for training courses and certification contracts;
  • Contact clients to introduce Training and Certification services;
  • Generate certification quotations;
  • Set up meetings to present certification proposals;
  • Submitting tenders for certification.
  • Responsible for payment collection

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience required
  • Experience in Business Development essential
  • Background in selling training products would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of ISO standards would be an advantage
  • Cold calling experience is a must
  • Must have working experience in a target-driven environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
  • Willing and able to travel regularly within the country.
  • Valid Drivers License and a car.

3.) HR Business Partner - Marine & Offshore (Sub-Saharan Africa)

Job Location: Lagos

Mission

  • This role is to ensure best fit between employees and organization, delivering quality customer service and committing to recruit, develop, reward, and retain engaged employees. 
  • Responsibilities include overseeing the entire spectrum of HR functions, maintaining quality data management within SF, talent acquisition, on-boarding process, fostering learning and development initiatives, administering annual compensation and benefits review, evaluating performance, promoting employee engagement, and supporting corporate social responsibility initiatives in accordance with the philosophy and priorities of Marine & Offshore (M&O) and M&O IMEA zone. 
  • Effective management of these functions necessitates utilizing company HRIS applications.

Responsibilities
As HR Business Partner reporting to the M&O Regional Chief Executive, Sub-Saharan Africa and functionally to M&O Zone HR Manager (IMEA), you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Handle the day-to-day HR operational matters within Marine & Offshore Sub-Saharan Africa,
  • Administer talent acquisition process in line with company policies using related modules, enhancing employer branding initiatives to attract and retain talent,
  • Participate in HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement,
  • Help to identify training needs and design and organize learning & development programs (translating group tools & solutions to the local needs), 
  • Work in close collaboration with Group Learning & Development tribe, D&I team, and the network,
  • Support implementation of Zone's D&I approach in all aspects of people processes (attract, engage, grow)
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies,
  • Drive the system and global HR processes (performance, succession, learning & development, engagement survey, employer branding etc) and maintain the HR policy to create best HR practices,
  • Assist in driving strategies and initiatives to support BUs in alignment with Company goals and objectives including headcount forecasting, budget planning,
  • Support in reshaping and transforming HR according to business needs,
  • Gather and analyze data using HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations to improve processes and practices,
  • As a part of the the Zone's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team, help promote a culture of social responsibility, and engage initiatives as per the zone priority goals,
  • Perform other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned by the RCE and Zone HR Manager,
  • Address employment related queries from employees.

Reqiurements

  • 7-10 years of working experience in a similar role,
  • Enthusiasm for developing people, diversity and inclusion, and corporate social responsibility initiatives,
  • Active in social media, preferably in LinkedIN,
  • Ability to work independently and on a team,
  • Good level of English,
  • Has keen eye for details, excellent grasp of numbers, and strong sense of integrity,
  • Good time management, organisation, and interpersonal skills,
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems (preferably SAP Success Factors)
  • Prior experience in HR Shared Services Team is preferred.
