Job Summary

  • The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that the production process runs smoothly.
  • The Production Manager plans, coordinates and controls the manufacturing process.
  • This position manages Packaging team, tailoring team, order management / stylists, creative team.

Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee production process from concept stage to final execution
  • Design and implement production schedule
  • Ensure that production lines are well equipped to meet target output
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality control measures
  • Ensure that all health and safety guidelines and protocols are strictly adhered to
  • Review the performance of team and advice top management accordingly
  • Identify training needs and provide periodic opportunities to up-skill team members
  • Provide periodic updates to top management on important developments regarding production processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts or closely related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • 3-5 years in a managerial position.

2.) Quality Control / Quality Assurance Manager

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • A fashion company in Victoria Island is looking to hire a QC/QA Manager. This is an integral role, as you will be responsible for ensuring high product integrity is maintained to a high standard, and that the company’s products are fit for purpose, meet quality standards and customer expectations throughout the production process.
  • You will develop and implement QC / QA procedures, source fabrics, monitor production, and address quality issues to maintain a high standard of output.
  • You will monitor and advise on how the quality management system is performing and where appropriate, advise on necessary changes and ensure continuous improvement in the production process.
  • You will primarily work out of the company’s head office, covering all product types: womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, as well as our ever-expanding range. When required, you will travel to other company locations, dyeing sites, production sites, as the need demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the company’s quality control and assurance process
  • Monitoring and controlling each garment's quality as produced by both in-house factory and external suppliers
  • Verifying the construction and fit of the company’s production garments
  • Ensure company standards are maintained as highly as practicable, including implementing new best practices
  • Train, develop and coach QCs & QAs
  • Work cross-functionally within the supply chain (production team).

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in Fashion & Luxury structured organizations, in the same or similar role
  • Technical knowledge of fashion garments
  • Menswear knowledge is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, acute attention to detail and collaborative attitude
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.

3.) Operations Coordinator (Execution)

Summary

  • The Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient allocation and utilization of resources and spearheading the strategic planning efforts of the organization.
  • This role involves managing and coordinating support operations, including marketing and sales initiatives, customer service activities, inventory management, and procurement processes.
  • The Operations Coordinator ensures that all these functions work seamlessly together to support the organization’s overall objectives and enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team leads to ensure that departmental goals are achieved
  • Design, implement, and maintain clear operational guides to ensure efficiency
  • Observe and review processes to identify areas of inefficiencies and areas of improvement
  • Supervise the team to ensure that all products meet the brand’s standards and quality
  • Provide reports to the COO to deliver insights into the overall progress of the departments under his/her jurisdiction
  • Establish and maintain relations of trust with partners, suppliers, and vendors to foster collaboration and support
  • Manage supply chain activities to ensure smooth and efficient flow of materials and products
  • Coordinate the procurement of production-related materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Ensure that all forms of communication across all channels reflects the voice and position of the company
  • Support the Head of Operations in executing strategic initiatives and achieving business objectives.

Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to Chief Operating Officer
  • This position manages the Communications & Customer Service Team, the Distribution, Marketing & Sales Team, Inventory Management & Procurement Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or any related field
  • Must have significant senior-level management experience (minimum 8 years).

  • Deep knowledge of project management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
