1.) Talent Acquisition Manager
Job Location: Nigeria

What You'll Be Doing
- As our Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our growth journey. This isn't just about finding people; it's about finding the right people who will help us build our future. You will be a strategic partner, a hands-on recruiter, and a brand ambassador all in one.
- You'll lead the charge in defining and executing our talent acquisition strategy, from identifying key roles to creating an exceptional candidate experience.
- You’ll work directly with our founders and hiring managers to understand their needs and build a scalable recruitment engine that can keep pace with our rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Design, implement, and manage a holistic talent acquisition strategy that aligns with our company's business goals and growth roadmap.
- End-to-End In Country Recruitment: Own the entire recruitment life cycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Candidate Sourcing & Experience: Proactively source passive candidates through innovative channels and build a strong talent pipeline. Ensure every candidate has a positive and engaging experience, regardless of the outcome.
- Employer Branding: Work closely with marketing and leadership to develop and amplify our employer brand, showcasing our unique culture and mission to attract top-tier talent.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on best practices, market trends, and talent forecasting.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Define and track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, quality of hire, source of hire) to identify bottlenecks and continuously optimize our hiring processes.
- Process & Tools: Implement and manage our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruiting tools to create an efficient and scalable hiring process.
Requirements
What Qualifications & Experience Are Needed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field with 6+ years of in Talent Acquisition
- Masters in HR or Business Administration
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Prior experience with ATS’ and employee data reporting tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
- Demonstrated interest or experience in leveraging AI or automation
- HR Certification - SHRM, CIPM or CIPD.

2.) Project Manager, AI Operations
Job Location: Nigeria (Hybrid)
Department: Service Delivery, AI Operations
Description

Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
- As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance and success of multiple large-scale projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and deliver results that exceed service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Acting as a strategic partner to clients, you will proactively drive solutions to complex operational challenges and spearhead initiatives that advance project success.
- In addition to project leadership, you will take ownership of building and leading high-performing teams.
- You’ll mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Your leadership will be key in aligning team efforts with organizational goals, nurturing talent, and driving motivation across teams.
- To be successful in this role, you should have extraordinary analytical, communication, and leadership skills, and pay great attention to detail. This involves:
Project Delivery:
- Manage project workflows and performance metrics.
- Provide insights and actionable strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes on projects
- Partner with the Quality and Training Management teams to establish a rigorous quality control framework for sustained project performance
- Lead project-level client engagements and nurture productive client relationships.
Operations Leaderships
- Partner with WFM teams to develop and manage long-term staffing strategies to meet the evolving needs of multiple high-impact projects.
- Act as the escalation point for all project-related issues, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
- Ensure business continuity through contingency planning, resource allocation, and proactive risk management.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client project managers, fostering deep partnerships and driving alignment on strategic objectives.
- Conduct business reviews with clients, presenting insights and data-driven results that demonstrate the value and impact of Hugo's services.
- Collaborate with internal leadership to align project outcomes with broader company objectives and client expansion strategies.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide leadership, direction, and professional development opportunities to Project Coordinators, Team Leads, Agents and other key team members.
- Foster team collaboration, motivation, and skill development.
- Coach and develop project teams to achieve sustained project excellence and professional advancement
- Create and communicate clear objectives and expectations to team members, empowering them to own their workstreams and contribute to the success of the projects
- Drive initiatives to boost team morale and motivation, ensuring that team members remain aligned with Hugo’s mission and client success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in STEM or Humanities program, or a relevant field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, project management, or a role with significant problem solving and client/team leadership responsibilities
- Intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in emerging technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence) and their applications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, project management, or account management/client services.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and other business stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven track record of adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of G-Suite (Google Workspace) apps.

3.) Video Producer & Editor
Job Location: Nigeria (Hybrid)
Department: Brand & Marketing
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and assemble raw footage into compelling video content, aligned with scripts, storyboards, or creative briefs.
- Edit videos to refine structure, pacing, and narrative clarity, using transitions, cuts, and framing to elevate storytelling.
- Integrate sound design, voiceovers, and music to enrich visual impact.
- Collaborate with designers to incorporate motion graphics, title cards, and animation where needed.
- Apply consistent color correction and grading to enhance tone, brand alignment, and polish.
- Optimize video output for various platforms and resolutions, ensuring quality and consistency across formats.
- Conduct thorough quality control reviews to deliver clean, error-free final cuts.
- Stay up to date with post-production trends, tools, and workflows, and propose improvements for efficiency and output quality.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications/Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in an in-house or agency environment.
- Relevant certifications or coursework in video editing, motion graphics, or post-production are a plus.
- Proven portfolio of completed video projects across formats (e.g., marketing content, internal communications, social media, or branded storytelling).
- Experience working within brand guidelines and collaborating with creative teams.
Preferred Background:
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Working knowledge of After Effects or similar tools for motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
- Excellent color grading skills and experience working with UGC content.
- Familiarity with audio editing and mixing, and optimizing videos for different platforms and resolutions.
- Strong understanding of file formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings for web and broadcast.
- Interest in AI-powered editing tools and emerging technologies (e.g., Adobe Sensei, Runway, Descript), with a mindset for experimenting and integrating them into the post-production process.
- Meticulous eye for detail and quality control.
- Strong narrative instincts with an eye for framing and flow.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Receptive to feedback, with a proactive approach to revisions and creative problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong sense of ownership over assigned projects.
