We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Accountant

Job Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
School Fees Function:


  • Prepare School Bills for All Students
  • Update Students’ Records
  • Update cash receipt journal
  • Prepare report of fees and extract the outstanding fees
  • Prepare Billing Summary
  • Receive bank tellers and raise receipt via the cash receipt journal
  • Prepare termly school fees reconciliation.

Students’ Population Statistics:

  • Prepares weekly report of students’ population
  • Update students’ class list.

Treasury Function:

  • Petty cash reimbursement function.
  • Bank imprest reimbursement function
  • Bank reconciliation function
  • Prepare of cash flow statement.
  • Maintenance of School Bank Account and supporting ledgers.

Others:

  • Involved in the school day-to-day running expense decisions
  • Work with the Head of School to prepare the budget
  • School financial analysis
  • Budget implementation and monitoring with regular variance analysis reports.
  • Advisory and follow-up on cost management.
  • Prepare the school’s financial statements.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets register.
  • Oversees inventory management and reporting.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience.

2.) House Parent

Job Location: Abijo - Lekki, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Student Care and Supervision:

  • Provide constant supervision and care for students within the residential setting.
  • Promote a safe and healthy living environment by enforcing rules, routines, and safety protocols.
  • Address students' physical, emotional, and psychological needs.

Community Building:

  • Foster a sense of belonging and community among students.
  • Organize and participate in group activities, discussions, and team-building exercises to encourage positive relationships among residents.
  • Mediate conflicts and promote conflict resolution skills among students.

Emotional Support:

  • Offer emotional support to students, acting as a trusted adult figure they can confide in.
  • Recognize signs of emotional distress or behavioral issues and take appropriate action, including communication with relevant school staff.

Communication:

  • Maintain open lines of communication with students, school administrators, teachers, and parents/guardians to share relevant information regarding students' progress, well-being, and concerns.

Academic Support:

  • Monitor students' academic progress and ensure they are completing their assignments and meeting academic goals.
  • Provide assistance with homework, studying, and time management skills.

Life Skills Development:

  • Teach and encourage essential life skills such as personal hygiene, time management, organization, and self-care.
  • Promote responsible decision-making and independence among students.

Emergency Response:

  • Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including medical situations, accidents, and natural disasters.
  • Follow the school's protocols for emergency procedures and ensure students are safe and accounted for.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate records of student behavior, incidents, and achievements.
  • Report any significant issues or concerns to appropriate school personnel.

Residential Environment Management:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the residential area.
  • Oversee meal times, ensuring nutritious meals are provided to students.
  • Manage the distribution of amenities and supplies to residents.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in student care, counseling, and house parenting.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 3 - 10 years of relevant work experience.

3.) German Teacher

Job Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Ed, B.Sc + NCE / B.Sc (ED), PGDE / PDE / M.Ed Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience of the subject (German).
  • Must be a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.
  • Good knowledge in the use of interactive display board
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.
  • Candidates must stay within Agbara or its environs (Festac, Amuwo-Odifin, Badagry etc).
  • Proximity to location is a MUST for easy commute.
