We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Program Manager

Job Location: Lagos

About the Role

  • Trucrete Solutions Limited is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to lead, coordinate, and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in road construction, civil works, and infrastructure delivery, with proven experience managing multi-project environments, diverse teams, and high-value project portfolios.
  • This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and deep technical knowledge of construction project execution cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership, direction, and oversight for multiple infrastructure projects under the program.
  • Develop and manage program objectives, timelines, budgets, and performance standards.
  • Coordinate all phases of project delivery—from conceptual development, design review, procurement, execution, monitoring, to project close-out.
  • Ensure resource allocation, risk management, quality control, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead weekly/monthly program review meetings with project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Track and report program performance, identifying issues early and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive adherence to HSE standards across all project sites.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and introduce best practices in program management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience managing major civil and infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridges, or related works.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery—planning, execution, and commissioning.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-SP, COREN, MNSE or related project management credentials preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, contract management, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and experience managing large teams and budgets.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.

2.) Project Engineer

Job Location: Kogi
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and result-driven Project Engineer with a minimum of 12 years’ proven experience in road construction to join our growing team.
  • The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in highway/roadway and Bridge projects, excellent project coordination skills, and relevant industry certifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all technical and engineering aspects of road construction projects.
  • Interpret and review construction drawings, specifications, and design documents.
  • Oversee project progress, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Manage site activities, including materials testing, surveying, drainage works, and pavement layers.
  • Prepare project reports, technical documentation, and progress updates.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and HSE standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure proper implementation of construction methodologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in road construction projects (highways, bridges, pavement works, drainage, etc.).
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (COREN, PMP, Project Management certifications, QA/QC certifications, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of road construction equipment, materials, and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-scale transportation or public infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in project management and engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, etc.).

3.) Project Planner / Planning Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Planner to join our growing construction team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure and road construction projects, with proven expertise in project control tools, methodologies, and reporting.
  • This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can support project delivery from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using recognized planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Prepare project planning documents including work breakdown structures (WBS), baseline schedules, critical path analysis, and resource loading.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare periodic progress reports, schedule forecasts, and risk analyses.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Site Teams to ensure accurate and timely collection of schedule inputs.
  • Analyze deviations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to support effective decision-making.
  • Support project meetings with planning inputs and schedule performance reports.
  • Ensure planning and reporting compliance with industry standards and company processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of proven planning experience in the construction industry, particularly in road, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in project planning or project controls (e.g., Primavera P6 Certification, PMI-SP, PMP, AACE certifications) is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and relevant planning software.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
