We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) General Manager (Hotel)

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description


  • As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, profitability, and employee engagement.
  • You will lead a team dedicated to delivering outstanding service and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the property.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to all hotel departments.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence among all staff members.
  • Lead by example and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ensure that guest satisfaction remains a top priority by consistently delivering exceptional service and addressing any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure that all hotel facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and revenue enhancement, such as partnerships, promotions, and special events.
  • Regularly review guest feedback and implement improvements as necessary to enhance the guest experience.
  • Develop and manage the hotel's annual budget, ensuring that revenue and expense targets are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor financial performance through regular analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
  • Implement effective cost-control measures without compromising service quality.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and local businesses.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes employee morale, engagement, and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving financial targets, driving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and industry trends.

2.) Purchasing / Procurement Manager

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • Our client is seeking to hire an experienced and highly motivated procurement/purchasing officer experienced in purchasing in a hotel setting to join their team.
  • This role is crucial in identifying and establishing relationships with reliable suppliers to meet their procurement needs.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential suppliers/vendors for various categories of goods and services required by the company.
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by suppliers promptly and effectively.
  • Assess the capabilities and suitability of potential suppliers to meet the company's procurement requirements.
  • Collaborate with the HR manager to qualify and onboard new suppliers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier information, including contact details, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on factors such as price, quality, reliability, and delivery terms.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and availability of goods and services.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of service with suppliers to achieve favorable terms for the company.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements.

Requirements

  • HND (Ordinary National Diploma/Higher National Diploma)/ BSC in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement or as a purchase officer, preferably in a market or retail environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier sourcing and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
