Job Position: Lead Developer Consultant
Job Location: Lagos

Job Overview

• The Lead Developer will typically act as a mentor for new or lower-level software developers or programmers, as well as for all the members on the development team
• Also contribute to the creation and maintenance of high quality software applications.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Executes a range of tasks in line with agreed software development methodology
• Develop specialist knowledge in relevant technologies, programming languages, tools, techniques and apply expertise and knowledge to deliver effective solutions.
• Share expertise and provide technical advice and guidance to others.
• Provide coaching / mentoring as required.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in software development processes.

Qualification and Skills

• Experience working with programmers of a cross functional development team
• Specialist knowledge of relevant technologies, applications, languages, environments, systems software, packages, platforms etc.
• Good communication skills with business customers and technology teams
• Product management is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Minimum four (4) years software developer experience
• Scrum master is a plus
