Job Position: Loan Verfication Officer
Job Locations: Ota, Ijebu Ode, Ijebu North, Abeokuta South, Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode, Ewekoro, Shagamu - Ogun
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Loan Verification Officers to verify customer information, assess risk, and ensure all onboarding checks are completed accurately before loan approval.
• The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and able to communicate effectively with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify customer information including identity, employment, business details, addresses, and references.
• Conduct digital and physical KYC checks to confirm customer authenticity.
• Review supporting documents such as IDs, bank statements, and utility bills for accuracy.
• Carry out field visits when needed to verify addresses, businesses, or guarantor information.
• Identify potential fraud and escalate suspicious cases to the Risk Team.
• Document and update all verification findings in the internal system.
• Communicate professionally with customers, employers, and guarantors for confirmation checks.
• Ensure compliance with Flexi MFB policies, regulatory standards, and KYC/AML guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Credit, Risk, and Collections teams to support safe lending decisions.

Requirements

• OND / HND / B.Sc in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in loan verification, credit analysis, field verification, KYC, or similar roles.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet strict timelines and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with local routes (for field verification) is an added advantage.
