We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Position: Machine Operator

Job Location: Sango Ota, Ogun

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repairing and operating the (powder sachets, tableting, Machines.
• Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process
• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper machine startup and operation.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of factory standard
• Maintain machine operations, cleanliness and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Verification and validation of equipment.
• Perform in-process checks during the production process to confirm standards.
• Liaise with the engineering team if need be during high technical need.
• Attach identification label to all packed and finished products.
• Request for adequate packaging materials to sustain a batch
• Ensure pre-production checks to avoid down-time during production process.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of machines
• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal downtime.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices.
• Ensuring compliance to cGMP rules, SOPs and Batch records instructions.
• Drive delivery and continuous improvement and innovation.

Competencies

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility with special skills in Powder filling, Tableting & Blistering Machines.
• Minimum of 3 years of production work experience as a machine operator in the pharmaceutical industry. Functional knowledge of production lines.
• Must be computer literate.
• Understanding of production and plant processes
• Good analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
