Job Description


  • This position requires an individual who can elaborate, update and implement the Personal Care country strategy in alignment with market segment strategies for Sub-Sahara Africa to support profitable growth.

What You Can Expect

  • Implementation of regional market segment strategies and product launches
  • Steering of local application technology activities
  • Develop and roll-out of promotion material (e.g. OPPs, presentations) as well as innovative concepts to support growth of value-adding products
  • Regular customer contact, contribute to customer account planning, acquisition of new projects, preparation of customer/distributor events with relevant functions
  • Elaboration/implementation of Personal Care country strategy
  • Local/regional communication planning
  • Organise and steer preparation of local/regional exhibitions in SSA including booking, booth, promotion material etc. with relevant functions
  • Market monitoring to contribute to market and segment approach
  • Product/concept trainings on Personal Care portfolio together with technical experts
  • Project Implementation in SSA according to regional strategy
  • Business Monitoring/Marketing Reporting

Requirements
What We Expect:

  • Graduate in Science or Economics (with sound technical understanding) in Personal Care Industry
  • Sound understanding in personal care Industry min 5 years. Ideally end customer product industry or cosmetic ingredient industry
  • Skilled in presentations, communications and tools
  • Project management
  • Local language (Nigeria) English, French (if not yet must be willing to learn it within 12-18 months
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the sub Saharan region
