We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: New Markets Consultant

Job Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 12 Months

Job Details

• The New Markets consultant will play a key role in the cross-functional team leading the expansion for Greenlight Planet to develop an expansion strategy and road map.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary market research on 5-10 off-grid countries in Sub-Saharan Africa including but not limited to: policies, business environment, telecom penetration, and competition
• Build a dashboard and rank markets based on predefined parameters
• Coordinate with business function like Operations, HR, Finance, Legal, Programs, Risk, and Commercial and create a business plan for 5-10 countries
• Identify existing or upcoming grants and technical assistance offered in 5-10 countries 

Requirements
Ideal Candidate:

• Is passionate about energy access, financial inclusion, or rural development
• Is willing to get their hands dirty by traveling to 4-5 countries and conducting research in rural areas 
• Is bilingual French and English speaker (Required)
• Has experience in conducting primary and secondary market research 
• Has the ability to communicate their ideas clearly through presentation or document
• Is fluent in using Google Suite or MS office.
