We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Officer - Warehouse
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
Key Areas Of Responsibilties include but are not limited to the following activities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the delivery of goods from all depots nationwide in collaboration with warehouse officers to ensure On-Time and In-Full (OTIF) order dispatches.
- Ensure all dispatches are accompanied by accurate and complete documentation including invoices, waybills, delivery notes etc.
- Liaise, negotiate, and maintain relationships with transport service providers to secure cost-effective and reliable logistics solutions, while monitoring their performance against agreed service levels.
- Supervise the loading process to ensure accuracy, proper handling, and compliance with safety standards. Ensure effective dispatch tracking of delivery vans and follow up on shipment progress until delivery completion.
- Continuously monitor the status of shipments to ensure on-time delivery; proactively identify and resolve any in-transit or last-mile delivery issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the sales teams regarding order dispatches, delivery timelines, and exceptions..
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch and delivery reports covering order fulfillment status, delivery timelines, and exceptions across all depots.
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and statutory transport requirements. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Minimum Qualifications: BSc Physical Sciences
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience.
