Job Summary
- As the first point of contact for clients, our front desk team plays a key role in creating a warm, professional, and efficient experience.
- We are currently seeking a Front Desk Officer (NYSC Intern) to join our vibrant team. If you're smart, presentable, and tech-savvy—with a passion for hospitality and organisation—we’d love to meet you.
- As a Front Desk Officer, you will be the face of PGE Travels, responsible for welcoming clients, managing daily administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication across the organisation. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and a strong grasp of digital tools and office software.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Maintain the front office and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and internal documents.
- Support basic logistics, office coordination, and administrative needs.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting calendars for the team.
- Assist with documentation, record keeping, and file organisation.
- Handle client inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments.
- Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reports and communication.
- Assist other departments with clerical or project-based tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Sociology, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Current NYSC member (Internship Placement).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and general office tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and pleasant demeanour.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and support multiple departments.
