We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Production Officer

Job Location: Markurdi, Benue
Job type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Officer located in Markurdi. The Production Officer will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that products meet quality standards, implementing and monitoring quality control procedures, and conducting research to improve production processes.
• The role will also involve training and supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the agro processing industry is a plus
• Experience in Quality Control and ensuring products meet industry standards
• Proficiency in Training staff and overseeing their development
• Background in the Food Industry, particularly in Chips processing or similar
• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and techniques
• Ability to conduct Research to improve production efficiency and product quality
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Applicant should reside in Makurdi, preferably between Wurukum and Coca-Cola.
