Description

• Our client in the Telecoms industry is looking to hire a highly experienced Project/Program Manager to join the team.
• A Project/Program Manager job description involves overseeing initiatives from concept to completion, focusing on defining scope, setting goals, managing resources (budget, timelines, people), mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project/program scope, objectives, roadmaps, and timelines; align with organizational goals.
• Manage budgets, allocate personnel/equipment, and optimize resource use.
• Drive delivery, track progress, manage daily tasks, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and resolve complex problems.
• Serve as the key liaison, providing regular updates to executives, sponsors, and team members.
• Motivate cross-functional teams, provide guidance, and mentor project staff.
• Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
• Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
• Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a BSc Degree
• 5-7 years of experience.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, negotiate, and report effectively.
• Ability to see the big picture and connect daily tasks to long-term goals.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven experience as a project or program manager in the telecom industry

Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 monthly.
