We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: QHSE Trainee
Job Location: Rivers

Job Description

• Monitors Company compliance with all the provisions of the SMS and other applicable Health, Safety and Environment Legislation for Vessels and Office.
• Carry out risk assessments and considering how risks associated with Company’s Operations can be cost effectively reduced or eliminated.
• Assist in the review of Company SMS in line with best practice and relevant marine safety conventions
• Ensures HSE reports are sent to Client as requested in a timely manner.
• Ensures all reported incidents and accidents are investigated in a timely manner.
• Ensures investigation outcomes of accidents and incidents are reported to management in a timely manner.
• Conducts bi-annual vessel HSE Audit and submits findings to management in a timely manner.
• Recommends sanctions to management for HSE non-compliance

Requirements

• Candidate must possess HSE levels 1,2,3 and NEBOSH certification with a minimum of one year experience in a similar role.
