Job Summary

• Prixair Catering seeks a Quality Control Inspector who can test, document, troubleshoot and prepare our food products for launch
• The successful candidate will have a creative, innovative approach to his or her work and will never shy away from offering frank observations and recommendations

Job Brief

• As a Quality Control Officer you  are responsible for making sure that our food products meet a set of predetermined quality standards
• The products you will inspect is food. You will separate out any products that fail inspection and make recommendations on how to improve the production process in order to reduce the product inspection failure rate.

Job Description

• Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
• Maintain, test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices
• Recall all failed  products to determine the best way to prevent it from happening.
• Test a certain percentage of all products based on industry standards
• Report problems or concerns to senior management immediately
• Manage our quality assurance division and ensure all employees meet their required quotas
• Provide training and support to the production team
• Create an effective, efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines

Job Requirements

• B.Sc in a related field and a Master's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering preferred
• 4+ years’ in quality control or quality assurance position
• 2+ years’ in a supervisory position a plus
• Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to translate skills and knowledge to others
• Industry certification a plus
• Based in Abuja.
