Job Position: Sales & Marketing Manager
Job Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Report To: Head of Sales, Africa

Job Responsibilities


  • Drive and strengthen the chronic care portfolio in Nigeria.
  • Review the overall team structure, and identify resources and skill set needed to build the team and deliver for success.
  • Work out a tactical plan for the team to implement the approved marketing strategy.
  • Review the company's current RTM strategy, coverage of HCPs, and market reach.
  • Propose changes to fill in the identified gaps, align the overall RTM to increase market outreach, devise KPIs and propose frameworks to monitor on-ground execution.
  • Conduct field visits to determine on-ground execution and propose improvements where needed.
  • Review the performance of the team on monthly basis.
  • Liaise with distributors for efficient and effective distributor management, Negotiate with retailers, Key Accounts, and wholesale channels.
  • Closely monitor promotional expenses.
  • Explore avenues to build brand equity and presence.

Requirements

  • Qualification: MBBS or Pharmacist.
  • Max 8-10 years of pharmaceutical experience (ethical selling background), preferably of branded generics in the chronic care segment.
  • Young and energetic, between 35-40 years of age.
  • Can do attitude. Willing to get his/her dirty.
  • Displays good teamwork, and leadership capabilities.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Adept at sales tools and software such as SFE.
  • Analytically sound.
  • Good customer orientation.
