Job Position: Savings and Loan Officer

Job Location: Owerri, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• As a Savings & Loans Officer, you will be responsible for mobilizing savings, managing loan activities, and building strong relationships with clients within assigned communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobilize daily, weekly, and monthly savings from clients in the field
• Identify, onboard, and manage new members/customers
• Educate clients on MiCash savings, loan, food bundle, and other financial products
• Monitor loan disbursement, repayment, and recovery
• Conduct field visits and follow up on customers regularly
• Maintain accurate records of savings and loan transactions
• Submit daily and weekly activity reports
• Build trust and long-term relationships with clients
• Work closely with the Administrative Officer / Operations Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE / OND / NCE (Higher qualifications are an advantage)
• Experience in microfinance, cooperative, POS, sales, marketing, or field operations is an added advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in the field and meet targets
• Honest, disciplined, and trustworthy
• Basic knowledge of smartphone usage (WhatsApp, data entry, etc.)
• Must reside within or close to the assigned work area.
