Server Room Maintenance Attendant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Vigilantly monitor the power systems and cooling units within the server room to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a watchful eye on the input and output of inverters, promptly addressing any anomalies.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks, such as disposing of the dehumidifier machine's condensation tank to uphold the required humidity levels.
• Effectively escalate any observed changes or issues within the server room during night shifts to the appropriate teams for rapid resolution.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• •Prepare comprehensive daily reports detailing insights from inverter and dehumidifier performance, contributing to our understanding of system health.
• Collaborate closely with the facility manager to promptly report any emerging or ongoing issues that may impact operations.
• Partner with the head of IT infrastructures to communicate and address any server or network-related challenges promptly.
• 24/7 Infrastructure Monitoring:
• Utilize the ManageEngine platform for round-the-clock surveillance of our infrastructures, ensuring any potential disruptions are proactively addressed.

Knowledge: knowledge of basic inverter functions

Skills: Basic Electrical skills

Abilities: Ability to change over inverter/power switch
