Job Role

• Process payments: Accept cash, credit, debit, and other forms of payment
• Bag items: Put customer purchases in bags
• Provide change: Give customers the correct amount of change
• Handle returns: Process returns for customers
• Operate cash register: Use the cash register to ring up sales and total purchases
• Answer questions: Help customers with questions about products, store policies, and services
• Maintain checkout area: Keep the checkout area clean and organized
• Scan items: Use a scanner to itemize purchases
• Provide receipts: Give customers receipts for their purchases
